Breadcrumbs started from the love for our twin girls and the desire to keep them safe. While we had been discussing starting a business, the right idea just never seemed to materialize. After hearing of yet another story about a missing or abducted child, it started conversations that lead us down the path to Breadcrumbs. We didn't hesitate in making sure our family pet, a chocolate lab named Jake, would have a path back to us if he ever went missing. We made sure he had the bone-shaped nametag with his address and phone number, the ear tattoo, as well as the hi-tech computer chip so he can easily be identified if the unthinkable happens. It made us wonder if anything was available for our girls. It then became clear that we would do something to keep them safe and protect them.

With the increase in predators, Amber alerts, missing children, abductions and the like, we wanted to do the most we could to protect our little gems from harm. It was at that point we decided we wanted to provide other families with the means to protect their children as well; it was at this moment that Breadcrumbs was born. The whole family decided to make it our goal to not only provide our girls with all of the tools we can to keep them from harm and close to us, but that we would take our efforts and help other parents to keep their children safe and at home. We decided that Breadcrumbs would specialize in child identification, locating devices, and safety products for you and your children. That was only the start of Breadcrumbs, and the future for your children and ours looks bright.
